ABOUT THE SEMINAR:

1 in 5 Americans will experience a mental illness each year. According to the CDC, more than 50% will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder in their lifetime. The current emerging science of the Gut-Brain Axis (GBX) indicates that many mental wellness issues originate as imbalances in the GBX. This imbalance can lead to neuroinflammation, which is often a precursor to the development of brain disorders such as anxiety, depression, and dementia. Other factors contributing to neuroinflammation include stress, toxicity, infections, trauma, and poor sleep. This seminar will examine the connection between the gut and brain, as well as the other factors that contribute to neuroinflammation and how to safely address common complaints of brain disorders using herbs and wholefood nutrition.
